Bound in full dark red crushed morocco by Macdonald of New York (stamp-signed at rear turn-in), the covers framed in dual gilt rules with a central panel, each corner decorated with delicate gilt leafy sprays and roundels. Five raised bands to spine with title gilt to second compartment, the remaining compartments gilt-tooled with geometric floral ornaments built up with flowers, leaves, gouged stems, and dots. Gilt-ruled turn-ins, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. Measures approx. 4.5" x 7.5". Original catalogue description loosely inserted. Some light rubbing to edges, corners, and spine bands. Occasional mild toning/foxing to text block.
