New-York: The Grolier Club, 1893. Small 8vo. Original cream wrappers, printed in black; edges untrimmed. Issued for the Club’s exhibition surveying early English literature from the fourteenth to the seventeenth century, with entries arranged to show editions and variants. Some toning/browning, particularly to the bottom edge of the front cover.

Printed announcement / private-view notice, single leaf on laid paper, letterpress in black within an ornamental Renaissance-style border, headed by the Club device.
Two admission cards for the exhibition, printed in black (blank for “Admit ___ and friends / Compliments of ___”).
Prospectus for the large paper version of the catalogue, with the cover reproducing the decorative title of “The workes of Geffray Chaucer” within a woodcut border; captioned “[Specimen Page] (No. 39).”
