San Francisco & New York: Morgan Shepard, 1906. Blue paper-covered boards with Japan vellum spine and small paper label to front cover. Double-page border on the frontispiece & title page by Frederic W. Goudy, with frontispiece having a slight green tint to it. The title page has been lightly hand colored in light green & yellow, accented with pink berries and blue & pink flowers. Features a large initial "I" by Goudy to open the essay, which has also been colored by hand. Measures 4.75" x 6.25". Some rubbing and toning to spine, light rubbing to edges and bumping to corners.
