Hamill, and a portrait lithograph by Rockwell Kent. 99pp. of plates in color and monochrome, along with a 20" x 25 1/2" color fold-out brochure sample for Strathmore paper tipped-in. Some light fading to cloth and edgewear.

Inscribed by Connecticut painter, art historian, and collector, Nelson C. White (1900-1989), to Llewelyn (Louie) Howland (1937-2019), longtime editor at Little, Brown in Boston, and later, founder of the bookstore Howland and Company. Howland has added two letters from Cleland--written in his beautiful calligraphic hand--to the book, appropriately placed within Cleland's borders on two separate plates.
