Text framed by green decorative borders on each page. Issued in the publisher’s "Ex Oriente Lux" series. Original wrappers bound in at front and rear.

Bound in full vellum with the front cover featuring a large hand-painted decoration, with the outer field in deep blue enclosing a paler blue cartouche scattered with bouquets of pink and orange blossoms with small buds in gilt, all within painted gilt rules. Rear cover with a small rectangular painted panel of floral ornaments; flat spine with a painted arabesque decoration at center. Pattern-printed endpapers with repeating gilt boteh (paisley) motifs. Measures approx. 4.5" x 6.5". Vellum with natural mellowing, some handling marks, spine a bit toned. 

The only clues to whom the binder may have been are found in one of the other volumes from this grouping.
