Bound in orangish brown leather in an Arts & Crafts-style, both covers with wide borders of spaced gilt stippling, framed by double gilt rules. Small floral sprays accent each corner, with a central panel left plain for the title and author in gilt on the front cover. Gilt-ruled turn-ins with smaller floral sprays at corners. Plain endpapers. (Text block is sewn into the binding in the style of a pamphlet.) Measures approx. 5.25" x 7.75". Some light rubbing to edges and corners, minor spotting to rear cover. Small discolored area (may have been imperfection to the leather originally?) near the title on the front cover. Some light wear to interior stab holes of string binding.
