Bound in deep red crushed morocco by Cedric Chivers, with a large square vellucent & mother-of-pearl panel depicting a Dutch boy in ice skates standing along a dike in the foreground, with two other figures and windmills in the background, with a separate gilt-framed vellucent title panel below reading "HOLLAND / NICO JUNGMAN" in purple, green, and orange. Bordering the panels are stylized inlaid gold tulip devices in gilt squares and curving leaves in inlaid green, connected with gilt fillets and curving gouges. Flat spine with title in gilt and three inlaid gold tulip square devices beneath, connected by long vertical gilt stems, terminating in a single inlaid green and gilt plant base. Small circular tulip ornament to the rear panel in gilt and inlaid gold and green. Gilt-ruled turn-ins with small gilt floral ornament at corners. Red and brown mottled endpapers, top edge gilt.

Housed in original red cloth flannel-lined slipcase (some wear to edges and corners). Measures approx. 8.5" x 10.75". Some minor spots of rubbing to spine. Gold and green inlays to spine with some darkening.
