The Book of Common Prayer and Administration of the Sacraments. Oxford: Printed at the University Press, Oxford [no date, circa 1910]. A beautiful two tone vellucent binding by Cedric Chivers with the front cover inspired by the Glasgow School, featuring a large cross in inlaid mother-of-pearl, surrounded by swirling vines in green and four pink roses (reminiscent of Charles Rennie Mackintosh), the design accented with small gilt dots. Title in gilt to spine with a minimized rose & vine design. All edges gilt. Measures approx. 3.75" x 5.5". Some light marks to covers & spine, spots of rubbing to edges. Small (1/2") horizontal closed tear at bottom of spine. Browning and offsetting to endpapers.
