[Mid-Century Modern Design] Archive of Drawings & Renderings by Evelyn Lashin (Cohen)

Archive of 26 original ink, pen, and watercolor drawings & renderings, primarily 12 x 14 and 16 x 20 inches, but several larger examples as well. In addition, two sheets showing fabric swatches and images are included.

The bulk of this work appears to have been produced between 1956-1957 by Evelyn Lashin [later Cohen], and is likely the work of Lashin as an interior design student. A few period references to Lashin can be found, and given she was born in and lived in New York City (at least through 1960), the Parsons School of Design, Pratt Institute, or New York School of Interior Design (NYSID) seem to be the likeliest schools for which these may have been produced.

Some soiling, margin stains, remnants of matting, tape remnants, corners frayed, etc.
